Merchant Account Manager

Kard is hiring a rockstar Merchant Account Manager to own and nurture our merchant relationships. This role is integral to Kard's success, so it's a huge growth opportunity with a lot of responsibility. For the right person, this role will morph over time as we build a scalable and efficient team centered on merchant success and campaign renewal.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the relationships with our merchants - you'll be their go-to person for everyday needs
  • Building out and/or improving our onboarding processes at the merchant and campaign level
  • Comprehensive monthly reporting that keeps everything running smoothly - nothing happens without you knowing it
  • Adhoc analytics requests - you know how to throw together charts and pull out interesting data tidbits
  • Defining the rules of client engagement for both our current stage and future stages
  • Bringing the merchant perspective to our product roadmap

You'll have:

  • 2+ years managing client relationships and running all aspects of the process (but we'll hire a bright person right out of college)
  • Analytical chops - you know your way around Excel, pivot tables, and campaign measurement KPIs
  • Strong client presence - you're proactive in doing what it takes to deliver the best possible experience to our accounts
  • A intense desire to be an early employee - you want to build something from scratch and don't need hand-holding

  • Early stage startup experience
  • Interest or previous experience in adtech
