Kard + Varo Partnership

We are proud to officially announce our partnership with Varo and to welcome them into the Kard network. Varo, the first all-digital nationally chartered bank in the US, will use Kard’s family of brands for their recently launched cashback rewards program.

“Varo’s new Cashback Perks program is designed to make it easy to earn cashback rewards on everyday online purchases available in the Varo app,” said Colin Walsh, Founder and CEO of Varo Bank, N.A. “We are excited to bring valuable credit-card-style rewards to every Varo customer and look forward to bringing additional brands to our customers through our partnership with Kard.”

The strategic partnership with Kard expands Varo’s capabilities and allows them to offer one of the richest cashback rewards programs in the market today. This strengthens Varo’s position as a digital banking innovator, designed from the ground up to improve the financial health of their customers through better technology and total transparency.

“Kard is proud to welcome the Varo community to the Kard network, enabling seamless cashback experiences for their customers at some of the largest online brands and merchants in the country,” said Ben Mackinnon, CEO of Kard. “A rewards program like Varo Perks, with the ability to give millions of dollars back to Varo customers, is needed now more than ever.”

Kard helps banks, card issuers, and other financial services companies access thousands of in-store and online merchants to build experiences tailored to their specific customer base. When a cardholder shops at Kard’s network of brands, they can earn extra rewards on everyday purchases without hassle. Because Kard reduces the expense and effort of an in-house rewards program, card issuers can more rapidly offer their customers a robust selection of offers. Varo joins Kard’s existing family of challenger and neo bank partners, including Hatch, Bits of Stock, Fortú, and more.
