Kard, the first independent commerce media network, is expanding its restaurant rewards through a new partnership with Seated, a restaurant discovery platform that helps restaurants fill empty tables while rewarding diners with 5 to 10% cash back on every meal.
Through this integration, thousands of new offers on highly rated local restaurants are now live in Kard’s network, broadening the dining portfolio beyond quick-serve chains and giving cardholders more ways to earn rewards.
Seated’s network spans dine-in, takeout, and event experiences at popular restaurants such as The Star on Park in San Francisco, Arden in Los Angeles, Farm Bar in Chicago, and Butcher’s Daughter in New York City. Offers are currently available in 20 states, with more coming onto the platform soon.
Seated's mission is to help restaurants effortlessly fill more tables by rewarding the right customers," said Alec McGuffey, Head of Partnerships at Seated. “By bringing our network into Kard’s platform, we’re giving our restaurant partners more visibility across Kard's diverse audience network and giving diners a better way to explore — and get rewarded for — their local dining scene.”
Because offers are based on a diner’s proximity to participating restaurants, they feel personalized, and encourage higher average spend, translating to bigger rewards with every meal. When cardholders pay with a linked card at a participating restaurant, rewards are applied automatically.
For Kard’s fintechs and financial institution partners, the Seated integration means richer dining rewards with minimal effort. Those integrated with local offers will be able to tap into the additional Seated restaurants.
Seated’s evergreen, geo-personalized structure also eliminates the need for ongoing offer management or direct merchant negotiations, helping issuers drive repeat purchases in a category that sees some of the most consistent engagement across card portfolios.
“Our partnership with Seated brings even more value to cardholders by expanding access to local, high-quality dining offers,” said Ben Mackinnon, CEO and founder of Kard. “It’s another step toward helping our issuer partners deliver personalized, location-based rewards that feel relevant to everyday life.”
Partnerships like this one reflect Kard’s commitment to building the most comprehensive commerce media network, rewarding consumers for supporting the brands and experiences they genuinely care about.
