A guide to interviewing at Kard

Kard has a comprehensive interview process to ensure we get to know you well, understand what role would fit you best, and learn how you can make a positive impact on our team. It's also designed to let you connect with people on the team with whom you’d be working every day, to give you a clear picture of what it would be like to work here and if Kard is right for you.

We know interviewing is stressful, so we want to set you up for success by giving you an overview of what you can expect throughout our hiring process. This process will vary a bit based on the seniority or type of role, but it will follow this general outline. Our goal is to complete the entire process in 3 to 4 weeks.

The Interview Process

Recruiter Prescreen

First, you will meet with our recruiting team to learn more about the role, team, and company. We’ll ask some general questions about your background and what piqued your interest in this role and Kard.

Hiring Manager Interview

Next, you’ll connect with the hiring manager to learn more about our needs for this role. They will be asking questions about your background to better understand what you’re looking for in your next role and how your skillset supports that.

Take-Home Assignment

To better understand your practical knowledge and skillset, we’ll send you a brief take-home assignment (taking no more than 1-2 hours to complete), with which you’ll be able to demonstrate the skills needed for the role in the format of real-world scenarios based on the job’s day to day responsibilities.

Team Interviews

Next, you’ll get to meet with more members of our team with whom you’d be directly working. They’ll ask questions related to certain focus areas relevant to the role and your collaboration skills.

Executive Interview

We’ll give you a chance to connect with one of our executives to get to know the company on a deeper level. Feel free to ask about our growth, their vision for their department, or more about the company as a whole. They’ll ask about your interests and professional development goals.

Offer

At this point, we’ll have a strong sense of what you would bring to our team and we’ll be thrilled to extend you an offer. Hopefully, you are feeling well-informed and equally excited about joining Kard, but should you have any questions, we’ll be here to help.

The Ideal Candidate

Here are some of the things we're hoping to see during your interview (embodying our corporate values):
